Acceptance
By registering an account or using Pixl Rift, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Service
Pixl Rift is a multiplayer pixel canvas game where registered users may place colored pixels on a shared canvas. Features and mechanics may change at any time without notice.
Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- One account per person — operating multiple accounts is prohibited
- Accounts are non-transferable
Prohibited Conduct
The following will result in immediate account termination:
- Creating or displaying hate symbols, slurs, or targeted harassment in pixel art or chat
- Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to place pixels or interact with the service
- Attempting to exploit, hack, or attack the platform or its infrastructure
- Spamming or flooding the chat system
- Operating multiple accounts to circumvent cooldowns or bans
Territory warfare, overwriting other players' pixels, coordinated attacks, and alliances are all permitted gameplay mechanics — not violations.
Purchases
- All purchases are one-time payments processed by Lemon Squeezy
- Premium features (Supporter, Founder) are tied to your account email
- All sales are final — we do not offer refunds except where required by law
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue premium features with reasonable notice
- If we permanently shut down the service, we will provide at least 30 days notice
Content
Pixel art placed on the canvas is publicly visible. You retain no ownership over canvas placements — they may be overwritten by other players at any time, and may be removed by moderators for rule violations. Chat messages are ephemeral and publicly visible to all connected players.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account by contacting us. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any purchases.
Disclaimers
Pixl Rift is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, interruption of service, or damages arising from use of the platform. The canvas is a shared, contested space — pixel art is not guaranteed to persist.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
